Lottie Bell White's Obituary
Lottie Bell White, 89, of Rixeyville died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 6, 1917 in Culpeper to the late Clifford and Nancy B. Williams.
Lottie was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She loved taking trips with her family and enjoyed canning and preserving. Lottie cared for people her whole life. She was a licensed nurse and caregiver and ran a nursing home out of her own home. She was a loving and kindhearted woman and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, James E. White, Sr. and his wife, Sylvia of Culpeper, three sisters, Alice White, Loretta Straughter, Lillian White, five grandchildren, Sylvia Johnson and her husband, Lawrence, Sr., James White, Jr. and his wife, Dorothy, Leroy White, Sr. and his wife, Angela, Timothy White and his wife, Kristy, and Rodney White and his wife, Helen.
Additional survivors include eleven great grandchildren, Tracy Johnson, Tammy Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Jr., James White, III, Alicia Huff, Christopher White, Justin Horsley, Ross White, Leroy White, Jr., Terence White, and Renee’ Brown, and six great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel White, two sisters, Mabel Johnson, Mildred Haynes, and five brothers, Archie Williams, John Williams, Charlie Williams, Warren Williams and James Williams and a loving daughter-in-law, Ross White.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Tillman officiating.
Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 9297 Eggbornsville Rd., Rixeyville, VA 22737.
