Lottie Frances Thornhill's Obituary
Lottie Frances Burke Thornhill, 81, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 25, 1936 to Brew and Essie Dodson Burke.
The 3rd sentence should read: Lottie worked many years at the Aileen Plant in Flint Hill and later at CCA in Boston.She was a member of Reynold Memorial Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and being a greeter.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Thornhill of Boston, VA; her nieces, Lynn Frye and husband Dick and Pam Burke; and her brother, Ronnie Burke and his wife Eleanor of Brightwood, VA.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, 3948 Sperryville Pike, Sperryville, VA 22740, at 11 a.m. with a visitation starting an hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church or Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Inurnment will be private.
