Lorraine Jean Smith's Obituary
On Thursday, 18 July 2024, Lorraine “Rainey” Jean Smith passed away peacefully in Culpeper, VA at the age of 84. Rainey formerly lived in Oakton, VA and in Little River, SC. In the last few years she lived in Stafford, VA in order to be closer to her family.
Preceding Rainey in death was her twin sister, and closet friend, Loretta “Lorrie” Jeanette Gilbert.
Rainey is survived by her sister, Linda Arpia of Alexandria; three children; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in the coming months.
