Loretta Rakes
Loretta Emma Rakes, 63, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Rakes; two sons, Richard Rakes and his wife, Cindy of Fredericksburg and Michael Rakes and his wife Kem of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Virginia (Tina) Rakes of Fredericksburg and Debbie Fite and her husband Aarron of Culpeper; her special niece, Sharon Maneer and her Husband, Paul of Spotsylvania; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Loretta enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friends and ten grandchildren,Kristie, Zachery, Kevin, Jenny, Kandace, Madeline, Mikey, Hunter, Andrew, and Jeremy.
Loretta’s family will receive friends Monday, January 12, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:00 am at the funeral chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
