Lorelei Ann Barnes' Obituary
Lorelei Ann Barnes, 61, of Rixeyville, died Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Novant Health Systems UVA Culpeper Hospital. She was born July 18, 1959 in Queens, NY to the late Peter and Millicent DeSalvo.
Lorelei loved going to the beach and laying by the pool. She enjoyed reading mystery books, and was fond of dancing and singing.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Lawrence Barnes; three daughters, Lauren Barnes (Eric Poles), Tara Barnes (Evan Minis) and Lindsay Barnes; five grandchildren, Thomas Moreno, Gabriel Moreno, Donavon Poles, Gianna Poles and Johanna Minis; two sisters, Cynthia Thompson and Sandra Connolly (Kenneth); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lorelei was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas DeSalvo.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
