Lonnie Gene Clatterbuck's Obituary
Lonnie Gene Clatterbuck, age 83, of Sperryville, VA went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center with his family by his side.
Lonnie was a U.S. Army veteran, a hard worker, loving husband, dad, and papa. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clatterbuck and Rosie Frazier Clatterbuck; siblings, James Clatterbuck, Jr., Alice Thomas, Betty Mae Miller, John Clatterbuck, Joseph Clatterbuck, and Janella Frazier; and a son, Lonnie Gene Clatterbuck, Jr.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Eleanor Pullen Clatterbuck; children, Ruth Ann Hines and her husband, Ronnie of Boston, VA, Steve Alan Clatterbuck and his wife, Lisa of Sperryville, VA, and Beverly Sue Pullen and her husband, Gary of Stanley, VA; in addition to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who love him, always and forever.
Living siblings include Mary Dunton and her husband, Dale of Ft. Worth, TX, Cletus Clatterbuck and his wife, Sue of Strasburg, VA, Robert Clatterbuck and his wife, Betty of Edinburg, VA, Margie Leboy and her husband, Joey of Stephens City, VA, and Patricia Wilson of Front Royal, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor James Pittman, II and Pastor Joel Cress officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hines, Timothy Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Alan Clatterbuck, Ryan Hines, Dylan Pullen, Dustin Pullen, Preston Clatterbuck and Ethan Clatterbuck.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
