Lona Virginia O'Donnell's Obituary
Lona Virginia O'Donnell, 78, of Leon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 25, 2006. She was born May 6, 1928 in Pleasantville, NJ to the late George and Leah Morris Spernick.
Mrs. O'Donnell was a member of Thoroughfare Bible Church. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother.
She is survived by her three children, Karen Newton and her husband, Roger, Jesse O'Donnell II and his wife, Teresa, and Cathy Mills and her husband, E.J. all of Leon, six grandchildren, Cory Newton and his wife, Jennifer, Justin Newton, Courtney O'Donnell, Joshua O'Donnell, Travis Mills, and Keary Mills, and one sister, Leah Betty Joost.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Roland O'Donnell, and a brother, Samuel Delmar Spernick.
A private graveside service will be held at Culpeper National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Children's Bible Ministry, 18301 Sandy Springs Rd., Stevensburg, VA., 22741.
