Lois Mae Short's Obituary
Lois Mae Short, 85, died February 15, 2023 at Autumn Care of Madison. She was born October 21, 1937 in Rappahannock County, Virginia to the late Benjamin and Lucy Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Short; two children, Gregory Bruce and Vonda Kim; five sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her three children, Robin “Bubba” Short, Tracy Russell, and James (Crystal) Short; one grandchild, Chelsea Short; one sister, Mary (Richard) Early; three step grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, and Ashley; seven step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Found & Sons Funeral Home 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper, VA 22701. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, in Jeffersonton, VA.
Pallbearers will be her sons Robin Short and James Short, her daughters Tracy Russell and Crystal Short, her granddaughter Chelsea Short, and family friend Keith Russell.
