Lisa Ann Vealey's Obituary
Lisa Ann Vealey, 57, of Culpeper, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by family. She was born April 22, 1968, to the late Robert Gene Resner and Shirley A. Corbin in Cheverly, Maryland.
Lisa was a devoted member of St. Luke’s Church, a lifelong supporter of the Girl Scouts of America, and a dedicated wish-granter with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Dwain Allen Vealey; sister, Alice Holt (Davis) of Glenn Dale, MD, and Samantha Ewens (Andrew) of Cary, NC; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Sam Compton of Culpeper, VA; brother-in-law, Jason Vealey (Jennifer) of Culpeper, VA; Nieces, Briana Vealey, Julie Holt, Kendall Breeden, and Amelia Holt; nephews, Joshua Holt, Adrian Ewens, and Drake Vealey; great- nephew, Camden Breeden; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by her grandmother, Alice Conner; aunts, Goldie Cook and Lois Conner; uncle, Ben Cook; and a host of others waiting to be together again.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1100 N. Main Street, Culpeper, VA, with Pastor Jessica Darty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, RT. 522, Culpeper, VA.
