Lisa Ellen Taylor's Obituary
Lisa Ellen Taylor, 47, of Rixeyville went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 18, 2012. She was born January 3, 1965 in Warrenton, Virginia to Woodrow and Regina Howard.
Mrs. Taylor believed in the Lord and attended Baptist Churches in the area. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. Lisa also cherished the time she spent with family and friends as well of taking care of her two cats. She loved to paint, visit the beach and thunder storms. One of her favorite pastimes was talking to friends and family on the phone at 2:00 o’clock in the morning.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her mother, Regina Howard of Rixeyville, two sons, Joey Howard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Bucky and his wife Lexis Taylor of Rixeyville, Virginia. One brother, Douglas Howard of Amissville, two sisters, Janet Merritt and her husband, David, of Rixeyville, and Nancy Johnson and her husband, Eddie, of Sweetwater Tennessee. Additionally, she is survived by a nephew, David Merritt, Jr. and his children David, Marionna and Maleah of Culpeper, a niece, Melissa Corsaro, her husband, Alex, and their children Giovanni and Adrianna of Boston, Va., a nephew, Jack Merritt, Jr., his wife Dana, and their children Matthew and Savannah of Rixeyville, a niece, Karen Elkins and her husband, Bradley of Madison, a niece, Crystal Pullen and her husband, Larry, of Rixeyville, a niece, Linda Howard of Boston, Va., a niece, Jennifer Bedortha, her husband, Billy, and their children Katie, Kassie and Khloie of Amissville, a niece, Ashley Harris, her husband, Billy, and their son Nathan of Amissville, a niece, Kimberly Howard of Fredericksburg, a nephew, DJ Howard of Amissville, a niece, Tammy White her fiancé Mike Nerless and her children Charles and Austin of Stanton, a niece, Amanda Heimerling and her daughter Angelique of Stanton and a nephew, Lloyd Heimerling, Jr. of Virginia.
Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Howard, a brother, Edward E. Howard and her grandparents Wilbur and Georgia Sturgell.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 23, 2012, 1:00 o’clock P.M. at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper. Pallbearers will be Bradley Elkins, Mike Nerless, David Merritt, Jr., Bucky Taylor, David A. Merritt and James Wells
