Lisa Marie Ridgeway's Obituary
Lisa Marie Ridgeway, 52, passed away from complications of pulmonary fibrosis on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Lisa was born Dec. 26, 1963, to Peggy and Tom Bowling in Colorado Springs, Colo. She graduated from Falls Church High School in 1982.
Lisa was a stay-at-home mom, who enjoyed photography and calligraphy, as well as taking road trips to visit friends and family. She could always be counted on to be there for her family, with constant support and encouragement.
Lisa leaves behind her husband, William; son Justin and his wife, Aubrey; daughter Leyna; stepdaughters Alicia and her husband, Ben and Trish and her husband, Mike; five beautiful grandchildren; mother Peggy; father-in-law Leroy; brothers Todd and his wife, Renee and Steven and his wife, Marianne; sister Lila; and many more family members and friends who miss her dearly.
In keeping with her lively and happy spirit, the family is holding a Celebration of Life from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Amy’s Café, 103 W. Cambridge St., Fredericksburg, VA 22405. Her wish was to be cremated and her remains will be interred within two trees; one in King George County at her home, and the other in Stephens City at the home of her mother and sister.
