Lisa Dawn King's Obituary
Lisa Dawn King, 38, of Greenville, NC died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the University Health Systems Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC. She was born November 17, 1972 in Manassas, VA to Wallace G. Herndon, Sr. and Beverly A. Blake Herndon of Culpeper.
Lisa enjoyed baking and made great lemon pies. She loved her husband, son and her family dearly.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Johnallen King, Sr., her son, Johnallen King, Jr., both of Greenville, NC, one brother, Wallace Gordon Herndon, Jr. of Alaska, one sister, Carrie Ann Leaf of Culpeper, her paternal grandmother, Agnes Elizabeth Herndon of Manassas Park, her mother and father-in-law, Robert John and Norma Ann King of Greenville, NC, and a host of other extended family.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 3-5 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Young officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
