Linda Christine Settle's Obituary
Linda Christine Settle age 62, passed away on June 14, 2008, at Virginia Beach General Hospital, one day before her 18th wedding anniversary.
Linda was a loving wife, mother and daughter. Survivors include her beloved husband Jeffrey of Manassas, VA; two sons, Phillip Gregory Prado of California, Jason Paul Prado of Manassas, VA; two sisters, Teresa Manfre and husband Daniel of Fredericksburg, VA, Judy Kennedy and husband Jeff of Maryland; and one brother, Timothy McGinn and wife Terri of Maryland.
Linda and Jeff were married on June 15, 1991, at sunset, on the beach at Seashore State Park, in Virginia Beach. She enjoyed camping with her husband and slept in a tent in extreme weather on their cross-country trip. Young women considered Linda a friend, not just “another older lady.” She was always young at heart. Linda supported the arts and liked earth tones. She was a wonderful writer. Linda’s favorite beach song was “Under The Boardwalk.”Family will received friends on Wednesday June 24, 2009, from 11:00-1:00pm, immediately followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm, at Found and Sons Lee Funeral Chapel, 8521 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20109. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.
