Linda Ann White's Obituary
Linda Ann White “Momma, Granny”, 56, of Culpeper went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born April 26, 1956 to the late George William and Mable Reva Jenkins.
Linda will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. Her sons, her two grandchildren and her two dogs were the love and joy of her life. She was a wonderful Christian woman who always put her faith in God’s hands. We will never forget her beautiful smile especially when she spent time with her grandchildren. She raised two Chihuahua dogs that are now 15 years old and still healthy thanks to her love and care for them. She loved all animals and would always buy food to feed the neighborhood animals. In the summer she would put ice in their water and in the winter she would put warm milk outside. Her little two year old grandson Ayden would get bags of food when he would visit and would want to go outside to feed all the neighborhood animals because he would see his granny every morning and evening taking care of them. She would cry and cry when she would see an animal outside without water or shelter.
Linda was a wonderful mom, granny, sister, aunt and friend. She had a heart of gold and everyone loved her. She loved playing ball with her grandson Ayden and baking cakes with her granddaughter Amaya. She was a nurse’s aid at Culpeper Hospital for 12 years and took care of the elderly in her home and outside her home, having taken care of both her parents when they became ill. She had her own cleaning service for the past 25 years. She was a hard worker and a precious child of God who will always be remembered for her love and kindness to everyone. She’ll receive a special crown in heaven for her love and care for animals.
She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth “Bo” Barker Dillon, III and George Edward Dillon and his fiancé, Angel Clanagan, two grandchildren, George Ayden Dillon and Amaya Helena Jones, the father of her children, Kenneth B. Dillon and his fiancé, Rebecca Burke, her third husband, Joseph C. “Joe” White of Culpeper, and her two dogs, Buddy and Sissy.
