Linda Lee Snellings' Obituary
Linda Lee Carney-Snellings, 59, of Spotsylvania County went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Linda graduated with honors in 1971 from Stafford and she loved sports in her younger years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a 2nd degree black belt in martial arts
Linda is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert; a son, Dustin Elliot Snellings of the home; three daughters, Tammy R. Johnson, and Kimberly and Samantha Snellings, all of Spotsylvania; eight grandchildren; her loving church family; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other close family and friends.
Linda’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Hebron Baptist Church, 6431 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Linda’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hebron Baptist Church Youth Fund or Building Fund, 6431 Courthouse Road, Spotsylvania, VA 22551.
