Linda Lee Boggs' Obituary
Linda Lee Boggs, born April, 8 1942 in Columbus Ohio, was taken home on Sunday, December 16, 2018 peacefully to join her mother and father.
Linda remembered just about everything, birthdays, weddings, etc., she would argue she remembered everything. Many times over the years she would be asked for family tree information or other important information, Linda knew it all and if she didn’t you would get other interesting family information.
She enjoyed walking, eating out, then ordering liver & onions, spending time with her longtime friend, Jeremiah, and working at Goodwill until a stroke took her away from getting out regularly.
Linda liked listening to 50’s, 60’s and sometimes 70’s music, writing letters, as much as receiving them, and wearing big sun glasses right out of the 70’s. She loved chocolate of any kind, the color purple, and liked to travel if you were ready to go in a car, plane, train or boat she would go, but Linda longed very much to be with her mother (Isabelle Boggs wife, mother, sister, grandmother & friend to many who was taken away in 1972 too young) and missed her father very much. Many times Linda would say “I just wanted to go home”.
She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Kornberg of Charleston, SC and her brother, Dennis Boggs of Abilene, Texas.
Linda will be laid to rest with her parents in Green Haven Memorial Park in Canfield, OH.
