Lillian Florence Schiltz's Obituary
Lillian Florence Schiltz, 98, of Gainesville, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Heritage Village Assisted Living. She was born February 20, 1925 in Aurora, IL to the late, Amiel and Florence Miller.
Lillian was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. She loved gardening and she was an avid baseball and football fan. Lillian enjoyed her Heritage Village community, where she was lovingly referred to as the local “Goodwill Ambassador” because she was usually the first to welcome new neighbors.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Dale; grandchildren, Kevin Dale, Darren Dale (Connie); two great grandchildren, Robbie and Evie; and one brother, Richard L. Miller (Barbara).
In addition to her parents, Lillian is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Robert Mathew Schiltz; her son-in-law, Samuel Dale; and one brother, John A. Miller (Louise).
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA with Father Augustine Tran officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA.
