Lillian Virginia Frazier's Obituary
Lillian Virginia Frazier, 88, of Stanardsville passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born September 16, 1927 in Culpeper to the late Luther and Gertrude Woodward Printz.
Mrs. Frazier was a longtime member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and worked for Aileen Sewing Factory for over 30 years. She loved the outdoors, gardening and cooking for her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Ellen Frazier Wharton of Culpeper, Gail Frazier Pattie and her husband, Bill of Madison and Kate Frazier Tharpe and her husband, Mark of Culpeper; grandchildren, Marcus Tharpe, Katlyn Tharpe, Shannon Tharpe Faulkner and her husband, Stephen, Tonya Tharpe Searfoss and her husband, Dustin, Kim Peterson and her husband, DuWayne; great grandchildren, Aiden and Noah Searfoss, Malaya, Matthew and Chelsea Colvin Peterson; and Andy Colvin, as well as three great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waverly Downing Frazier; two sisters, Eva Mae Printz Pullen and Ruth Ellen Printz Garnett; one grandchild, Matthew Colvin; three great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Samantha and Paisley Faulkner.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wayne Yowell officiating.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Peterson, DuWayne Peterson, Marcus Tharpe, Stephen Faulkner, Mitchell Terry and Mike Garnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Tharpe and Billy Pattie.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of Culpeper, PO Box 1224, Culpeper, VA 22701.
