Ligia Morales (Catalano)'s Obituary
Ligia Morales (Catalano) passed away on January 22, 2017 at Woodmont Nursing Home. Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico on January 22, 1928, Ligia passed on her 89th birthday.
Known as Abbey to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she is survived by her two daughters, Nadine Lancaster and Stephanie Fowler and her husband, Dennis; three grandchildren, John and his wife, Darcy, Andy and his wife, Andrea, and Alissia; three great-grandchildren, who she so enjoyed seeing and getting to know, are Eli, Sophie and Sunny; her brother, John, and his wife, Margarita; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and family.
A memorial gathering, to rejoice her life with her family, is being held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Found and Sons, Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
Family and friends will then gather at Nadine Lancaster’s house at 11527 Southampton Court, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
Her family asks that in lieu of flowers you send any donations you choose to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1009 Stafford Ave., Fredericksburg, VA 22401. St. Mary’s said mass at Woodmont Nursing home and Ligia really looked forward to the mass and St. Mary’s team of visitors.
