Libby K. Collins' Obituary
Libby K. Collins, 74, of Culpeper peacefully died at her residence on May 29, 2015. Libby was born on April 2, 1941 in Charlotte County, VA to the late Johnnie Jackson Knott and Lavlette Louise Knott.
Libby is survived by her three children; Melaney C. Davis and her husband Clay of Goode, VA, Christopher M. Collins of McKinney, TX, and April C. Swetof of Culpeper, VA. Six grandchildren; Alexandra Taylor and her husband Brian of Sperryville, VA, R. Geoff Davis of Quantico, VA, Elizabeth Roth, her husband Scott and John Swetof all of Virginia Beach, VA and Savannah Collins and Kennedy Collins of McKinney, TX and two great grandsons.
Additional survivors include two siblings; Barbara Davis of Hopewell, VA and Sandra Perdue and her husband Rodney of Lynchburg, VA.
In addition to her parents Libby is preceeded in death by three brothers; Kyle, Melvin and Glenn Knott and one sister, Karon Hill.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
The family encourages those wishing to make memorial contributions to consider the Virginia Tech Marching Virginians or the American Cancer Society.
