Regardless of the reason we share this day, this day will always be one that it is bitter sweet. This is the day that we celebrate both of our lives for different reasons - my reason being my birthday and yours being the day we lost you - either way it is a celebration of life. You are missed by many, including myself. I will never forget the times we would gather in your living room, you in your chair, the rest of us on couches and the floor making you watch The OC...you never quite understood why we were all so obsessed with that show, but you rolled with it. I hear memories of you often from the "Hood Bros" about your derby days and think about you often. You are deeply missed and dearly loved by so many and I am honored to share this day with such an amazing man!

A Year, Seems like forever, seems like yesterday. I finally got out of running home because I had to be here for you. Now I run home for the comfort of the memory of you. I still have your cloths in the closet, dresser the same, pictures we hung for you still on the wall. 62 in the Garage. Rocker still on the porch. House still white though I've thought about painting it back to Yellow. Jenny says you can't get me for that now. LOL. I still feel the pain of losing you. But I take great pride in the fact I was able to keep you here at home. Don't cry as much as I used to. Feel your presence sometimes so I know your here. Sleep in the room where you passed. Conforts me. As much as I wish I could have you back I know it was up to God not me. God allowed us to do all we could here on earth. I think he gave us all he could of you than took you home. He was so kind to allow us the time we had together. I will always miss you Bud but as hard as it all is I Thank God for what I had with you and the wonderful family we created and shared.
