Lewis Daniel Nicholson's Obituary
Lewis Daniel Nicholson, 80, of Madison died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1932 in Madison to the late James and Viola Nicholson.
Mr. Nicholson was a lifelong resident of Madison. He was a member of Oak Park Church in Madison and Providence Bible Church in Culpeper. He loved to fish and tinker on his cars and spent many years as a mason. Mr. Nicholson cherished his time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia “Peggy” Nicholson; four children, Daniel Nicholson and his wife, Diane of Strasburg, Rex Nicholson and his wife, Micah of Culpeper, Cheyenne Nicholson of Culpeper and Clint Nicholson of Culpeper and three grandchildren, Brandon, Britney and Kristina.
Additional survivors include three brothers, Velt, Robert and Garlow; two sisters, Daisy and Rosie; and special friend, Jamie Palozzola.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2 pm at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery, 12302 Alum Springs Rd., Culpeper, VA with Pastor Howie Holmes officiating.
