Lester Stoddard Alfred's Obituary
Lester Stoddard Alfred, 89 of Reva died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his residence.
Lester was born July 16, 1917 in Herndon, Virginia to the late Walter Stoddard and Martha Lowe Alfred.
Lester is survived by his two sons; Lester Dale Alfred and his wife Dolly, of Reva and Wayne Russell Alfred also of Reva, Four grandchildren; Ronda and her husband John Seymour, Lester Dale Alfred Jr. and his wife Margie, Dennis Alfred and David Alfred, Eight great grandchildren; Jessica, John Jr. and William Seymour, Kyndal, Brandy, Dylan, Katelyn and Kaylee Alfred.
Lester is also survived by one sister, Elise Allnut and five brothers; John, Lawrence, Cecil, Charlie and Kinley Alfred.
In addition to his parents Lester is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Alfred and one sister Mary Scott, and five brothers; Walter, Norman, Leonard, Roy and Floyd Alfred.
The family will receive friends from 7-9p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2006 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 2p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery, Novum, Virginia with Rev. John Burke officiating.
Pallbearers named are; Samuel Fox, John Paul Woodard, Jr., Joe Ference, Walton Thompson, Mike Tanner, William Henshaw, Randy Henshaw and Oliver Bowles.
