Lester Dale Alfred, Sr.'s Obituary
Lester Dale “Hairy” Alfred, Sr., 70, of Reva died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born May 8, 1946 in Arlington to the late Lester and Dorothy Adkins Alfred.
Mr. Alfred was a member of Gid Brown Bible Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener, who shared his vegetables with many friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dolly Baldwin Alfred; four children, Lester Dale Alfred, Jr. of Culpeper, Ronda Gay Seymour and her husband, John of Fauquier, Dennis Ray Alfred of Culpeper and David Wayne Alfred and his wife, Amanda of Madison; and one brother, Wayne Russel Alfred of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, Jessica, Johnny, Kyndal, William, Brandi, Katelyn, Kaylee, Dylan and Luke; and one great grandchildren, Brantley.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Burke and Pastor Bruce Beeler officiating.
His sons, grandsons and his brother will be pallbearers.
