Leslie C. Stratton,Jr.'s Obituary
Leslie Charles Stratton, Jr, 91, of Locust Grove, Virginia, passed away on June 18, 2008, after a brief illness. Leslie is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Kathryn Stratton. Three children and several grandchildren.
A World War II Veteran, Leslie took an active interest in both sea and air transportation and was particularly fascinated by the Titanic. His knowledge of that tragedy was profound.
Additionally, Leslie concieved and dirated Operation Sail, a celebration of sailing ships and their history that was a part of the Bicentennial of 1976.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangments willl be made by Found and Sons Funeral Chapels.
