Leslie Renée Gillespie's Obituary
Leslie Renée Gillespie, 47, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. She was born on June 2, 1978, to Ronald Furlong and the late Janet Marie Furlong.
Leslie had a kind and generous heart, always ready to help others or offer a bit of warmth when it was needed most. She had a special eye for photography and a deep love of beautiful scenery, often finding meaning and peace in the quiet moments of nature. She saw beauty where others might not look, and she shared that perspective with everyone around her. Her gentle spirit and genuine care for others will be deeply missed.
Leslie is survived by her beloved daughter, Dominga Centeno (boyfriend, Brandon Davis); her father, Ronald A. Furlong; and her siblings, Sam Gritz (Jane), Karen Haught (Dudley), Jessica Furlong (fiancé, Earen Dunham), Jamie Nichols, Robert Furlong (Megan), and James Furlong (Amanda). She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews; Samantha, Tyler, Gage, Jaxon, Jordan, Jovi, Brooke, Trey, Brady, Madison, Emily, Blake, Fiona, and Westley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Marie Furlong.
A celebration of life will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper on November 1, 2025 from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
