Leroy Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Leroy Johnson, age 61, of Culpeper, Virginia died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. After a long illness, he went home to be with the Lord. He was born on September 20, 1952 in Culpeper and was educated in the Culpeper County School System.
He was preceded in death by his father James Johnson, Sr.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Katherine Herndon Johnson (Culpeper, VA); six children: Octvaia “Stuffy” Lewis of Greensboro, NC, LaKeisha Greene of Orange, VA; Troy Johnson of Philadelphia, PA, Jermaine Taylor of Philadelphia, PA, Yolanda Johnson of Fredericksburg, VA and Jared Johnson of Columbia, SC; six siblings: James Johnson, Jr. (Lillian), Bernard Johnson (Lynn); Peggy Braxton, Treasa Johnson, Mary Johnson, and Debbie Sue Moses; and eight grandchildren. Also celebrating his life are a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
