Leroy Francis Blue's Obituary
Leroy Blue, 71, of Spotsylvania County, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
He was a member of Crane Operators IUOE Local 77 for more than 40 years. They lovingly called him “Papa Smurf”. Leroy could do anything. He loved to show his creativity by building motorcycles and gun smithing.
Leroy is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Belinda Blue; son, Bryan Lee Blue of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Brandy Brady of Spotsylvania; brother, Donald Blue (Janet) of Unionville, VA; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family.
Per his wishes, no formal service will be held.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 at noon at the Partlow Ruritan Building, 3229 Partlow Road, Partlow, VA 22534.
