Leo Ludwig Fischer Jr.'s Obituary
Leo Ludwig Fischer, Jr., 70, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at his home.
Leo served in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion #364 in Woodbridge and worked for United Defense and BAE Systems as a mechanical engineer.
Leo is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sarah Jane Fischer of Fredericksburg; son, Albert Fischer and wife, Tamara; and daughter, Mary Fischer, all of Minneapolis; stepson, Franklin Moyer of Woodbridge; and three grandchildren, Matthew and Kaitlyn Fischer of Minneapolis and Abigail Moyer of Woodbridge.
Leo’s family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
In lieu of flowers, Leo’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, P.O. Box 1006, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.
