Lelia E. Weaver
Lelia E. Weaver, 98 of Culpeper went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Our Fathers House & Christian Home.
Lelia was born in Warrenton on April 22, 1916 to the late James Milton Weaver, Sr. and Lelia McDonald Weaver.
Lelia was a manager in the personel department for the U. S. Treasury Department prior to her retirement. Faithful member of the Culpeper Baptist Church and was blessed to have lived to the age of 98 years old.
Lelia is survived by many of her Nieces and Nephews; Mary Sue Butler and her husband Richard, Roger Weaver, Joyce Hull and her husband Norman, Barbara Marx, Esther Neuland, Joann Proctor and her husband Ronald and many other great nieces, great nephews and cousins, all of whom meant the world to her.
In addition to her parents Lelia was preceded in death by her brother James Milton Weaver, Jr., by her three sisters; Ruth Loveridge, Dorothy Hutcherson and Florence Wallach as well as her nieces and nephews; James Milton Weaver III, Elizabeth Loveridge, Elaine Herron, Norma Jean Rumzek, Suzanne Embry and Ernest Wallach.
Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper with the Pastor Dan Carlton officiating.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Warrenton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West St. Culpeper, VA 22701
