It’s with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ledis Yaneth Melgar Rubio, who left us far too soon on April 17, 2025, at the age of 37.
Yaneth was a rare and beautiful soul, someone who truly lived for others. Her love for children was unmatched. She had this way of making every child feel safe, seen, and completely adored. Many she raised as her own, and each one carried a piece of her love with them. She had a mother’s heart — patient, gentle, and nurturing.
If you knew Yaneth, you knew kindness. She gave without ever expecting anything back. Her presence alone made people feel better. She had this warm, magnetic spirit that brought people together, calmed storms, and made you feel like everything would be okay. That’s just who she was — steady, selfless, full of love.
She shared a special, unbreakable bond with her sister Yuli. The two of them were inseparable, always side by side, like two parts of one soul. They grew up together, laughed together, carried each other through everything. Watching their love for each other was something truly special.
Yaneth touched so many lives, quietly, humbly, without ever needing recognition. And now, as we prepare to say goodbye, we know there will be so many people there to honor her, because her love was wide and deep, and it reached further than she probably ever knew.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will never fade. Yaneth, you gave the world so much. We’ll miss you forever. We’ll carry you with us always.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg; with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Spotsylvania Confederate Cemetery.

Con el corazón destrozado compartimos la partida de nuestra querida Ledis Yaneth Melgar Rubio, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto el 17 de abril de 2025, a la edad de 37 años.
Yaneth fue un alma rara y hermosa, alguien que verdaderamente vivió para los demás. Su amor por los niños no tenía comparación. Tenía una forma única de hacer que cada niño se sintiera seguro, visto y profundamente amado. Crió a muchos como si fueran sus propios hijos, y cada uno lleva consigo una parte de su amor. Tenía el corazón de una madre: paciente, dulce y cariñosa.
Si conociste a Yaneth, conociste la bondad. Ella daba sin esperar nada a cambio. Su sola presencia traía consuelo. Tenía un espíritu cálido y magnético que unía a las personas, calmaba las tormentas y te hacía sentir que todo iba a estar bien. Así era ella: firme, desinteresada, llena de amor.
Compartía un vínculo especial e irrompible con su hermana Yuli. Eran inseparables, siempre juntas, como dos partes de una misma alma. Crecieron una al lado de la otra, rieron juntas, se acompañaron en todo. Ver el amor entre ellas era algo realmente especial.
Yaneth tocó tantas vidas, en silencio, con humildad, sin buscar reconocimiento. Y ahora, al prepararnos para despedirnos, sabemos que habrá muchísimas personas para honrarla, porque su amor fue amplio y profundo, y llegó mucho más lejos de lo que ella probablemente imaginó.
Nos deja un legado de amor, fortaleza y compasión que nunca se desvanecerá. Yaneth, diste tanto al mundo. Te vamos a extrañar por siempre. Te llevaremos con nosotros en el corazón, cada día.
Descansa en paz, alma hermosa. De verdad, fuiste única en tu clase.
