Leander Pierre Scott's Obituary
Leander Pierre Scott, 57, of Woodbridge, passed away Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, surrounded by family. He was born on March 2nd, 1968, to Barbara Ann (Lewis) Scott and the late Minor James Scott.
Leander is survived by his beloved mother, Barbara Scott; his wife, Sarina Scott, and his children, Jeremy (mother Tonya Davis), Christian and Jaden (mother Kristi Ausberry), and stepsons Giovanni Gray and Ronald Watkins. He was a cherished grandfather of Elora, Nasir, and Tegan.
He was loved by many extended family members and friends who will carry forward his memory and laughter for years to come. Leander also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. "Once a Marine, always a Marine, Semper Fi.”
Leander was preceded in death by his father, Minor Scott, and his sister Cassandra Becoat.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family will receive friends two hours before the service, starting at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper, VA.
