Laura Ann Stidham's Obituary
Laura Ann Stidham, 57, of Elkwood, VA went home to be with Jesus Monday, February 20, 2023 in Brandy Station, VA. She was born on October 18, 1965 to Ellen Woodward Hite and the late Alfred Woodrow Hite in Warrenton, Virginia.
Laura was a member of New Life Baptist Church for over thirty-four years. She loved God and her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Laura is survived by her husband of 41 years, Vilas Lee Stidham; children, Irvin Thompson, Jr. (Jennifer), Crystal Edmondson (David), Angela Mullins (Josheua), Jennifer Shifflett (Justin) and Sara Woodward (Jerry); grandchildren, Andrew and Joseph Thompson, Elias Edmondson, Miranda, Savanna, Josheua Jr. and Rebecca Mullins, Micah Lacy and Jonah Shifflett; sister, Tammy Thompson (Robert); sisters-in-law, Nina Hite and Gloria Keller (Mike); brother-in-law, Johnny Stidham (Terry); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Alfred F. Hite and sister-in-law, Janet Stidham.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 12302 Alum Springs Road, Culpeper, VA 22701 with Pastor Bernard Heinz. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Interment will follow at New Life Baptist Church Cemetery where a reception will be held immediately following.
