Larry Coleman King's Obituary
Larry Coleman King, 82, of Culpeper, died Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at The Culpeper. He was born September 18, 1940, in Collierstown, VA to the late Percy and Mattie King.
Larry was a long-time member of the Culpeper Presbyterian Church and served in many roles there during his life. He worked for the Virginia State Police for over 30 years, where he retired as a Senior Special Agent. He was instrumental in starting organized Little League Baseball in Culpeper.
Larry’s number one priority in life was his family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two sons, Mike King (Kathy) and Chris King (Liza) and two grandchildren, Carter King and Daelan King.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his loving wife and best friend, Dorothy Silbert King, and one brother, Percy Floyd King, Jr.
The family is planning a private memorial service.
