Larry Wayne Kilby, Sr.'s Obituary
Larry Wayne Kilby, Sr., 62, of Culpeper passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. He was born September 14, 1956 in Madison to the late Otha and Bernice Ruffner Kilby.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kilby; five children, Kassandra Kilby, Larry Kilby, Jr. (Vanessa), Traywann Terrell (James), Jew Kirkley, and Brandon Kilby; four siblings, William Kilby, Sr. (Paula), Eunice Kilby, Clyde Kilby, and Carl Kilby; and eight grandchildren, Isaiah, Yndeiah, Anna, Malachi, Kassayah, Lariana, Tysen and Bryce.
Additional survivors include his mother-in-law, Grace Johnson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Donna Michie, Allan and Celeste Williams, and Lisa Arrington Kilby; special niece and nephew, Kendra Brown and Edward Kilby; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Lee Kilby; and sister-in-law, Joyce Kilby.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ludwell Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the service begins.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
