Larry Roderick Davis, Jr.'s Obituary
Larry Roderick Davis, Jr., more affectionately known as “Spanky” departed suddenly on August 12, 2024 at the age of 42. Larry was the first-born son of Larry Roderick Davis, Sr. and Rochelle Woolfolk Denny, born on Oct 29, 1981 in Alexandria, VA.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his father, Larry Davis, Sr. (Stacey); his mother, Rochelle Denny (Norman); one brother, Travis Davis (Naasa); his children, Lamarion, Jordan, Elijah, Jiraiya, Dakota; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
As a child, Larry truly earned the nickname “Spanky” as he was equal parts outspoken, energetic, and fearless with an unforgettable mischievous grin that would always make you smile. In adulthood, Larry mastered all things IT. However, his proudest achievement was his love for his children.
He was known for his contagious laugh and immense humor. He truly cherished every moment spent with, and more importantly loving on those he held the dearest. Larry’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered. His passing will be mourned deeply by everyone he knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Home, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
