A treasured friend of Vern & Elaine.
We cruised with Larry and Karen to Alaska in 2003 and became firm friends. Cruised with them again on a Trans-Atlantic, and met up with them in Paris, London and Las Vegas.
A gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour, he will be sadly missed.
Larry had a great take on politics which made a major impact on our many video calls - and gave me the opportunity to tease him some.
Larry's food photography on a cruise made for some great laughs including the time we ordered him 6 deserts whilst he left the table to go for a smoke.
We have hundreds of wonderful memories of Larry that we will treasure. We and Keith & Patsy will be holding our own Memorial to Larry on board ship tonight (as we are on a cruise at present) - complete with lightsticks, and will raise a glass of Merlot in honor of a great friend who will remain in our thoughts forever.
Our sincere condolences go out to Karen, Joretta and all Larry's Family.
