Mr. Lacy Lee Fincham's Obituary
Lacy Lee Fincham, 86 of Manassas Park, formerly of Scrabble, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Prince William Hospital.
Lacy was born in Scrabble, Va on May 15, 1926 to the late Robert Lee and Cora Jane Fincham.
Lacy was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps who served during WWII. He greatly enjoyed his time in the air and had flown in his plane up until just 12years ago.
Lacy is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Elizabeth Fincham and their daughter, Carol and her husband David Altizer of Tazewell, Va. Three grandchildren, Riley and her husband Lt. Col. John Flynn of Swansboro, N.C., Leslie and his wife Sarah Altizer of Arlington, Va. and Katherine Altizer of Bloomington, IN, his two sisters, Elsie Deppenbrock of Leesburg, Va and Margie Sobtone of Baltimore, Md, two nephews and one niece, Louis Deppenbrock, Robert Sobtone and Bonnie Deppenbrock, in addition to the family, two very special friends, Doris Smith and her son Roy Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, with the Rev. Denver Turner officiating. The Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Woodville Cemetery in Woodville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Manassas Park fire and Rescue Department, 9080 Manassas Dr., Manassas Park, 20111
