I have known Uncle Kyle my whole life. He was a legend master builder. He was a quiet man, like his mother Maudie
Ray (NONA) my grandmother. I lived with my grandmother and grandfather for awhile when I was little. I remember so many times he would come in after work with my grandfather, Hunter Ray. I would say hello or look at him and he would always shoot me smile and tell me to “be good”. I moved to Virginia briefly in 2021 and so blessed to have spent quality time with him. I will always cherish those moments. On one of those visits he showed me a house he was building (well into his 80’s) and all the magnificent trees on the lot. One tree he pointed at it and said, “Doesn’t that look like Jesus on the cross”. On the white bark there was a discoloration that did look exactly like that. That was the best day I was honored to spend with him. I shall miss him but shall reunite again with him soon in heaven. Rest easy uncle Kyle. Until next time. ❤️ Robin.
