Krista Elizabeth Pritt's Obituary
Krista Elizabeth Pritt, 52 of Stevensburg went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born on June 21, 1956 in Luray, VA to Charles Wayne Richards and the late Louise Richards.
Krista loved cooking, reading, riding horses and being with her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she was affectionately known as “Nana.” Krista served her Lord at the Bible Baptist Church where she was a member.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Ralph of Stevensburg, her second mother, Joyce Richards, her children, Rhonda Marks and her husband, Darryl of Leon, Billy Pritt and his wife, Nancee of Unionville, and Tony and April Pritt of the home.
Additional survivors include her siblings, Donna Dodson of Culpeper, Terry Richards of Luray, and Robert Showalter of Orlando, FL, and five grandchildren, Tyler and Jodie Pritt, Courtney Gallihugh, and Kansas and Cory Marks.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff and her granddaughter, Samantha.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 1121 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Bruce Fincham and Brian Houck officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Marc Dodson, Chip Russell, Steve Foushee, Jerry Stanley, Austin Faulkner, and Farron Moss.
