Dr. Kishor Mody's Obituary
Jai Sri Krishna Jay Ambe Om Sai! On the evening of 31 July 2024, our beloved Dr. Kishor Mody departed this world. Although we are in grief, we send this invitation for you to share in our celebration of his life as grandfather, father, husband, brother, friend, and professional. We regret the short timeframe, but kindly ask all to please forward and share this invite with all loved ones, and all are welcome; we regret accidentally missing anyone.
For those who cannot make it, we will be live streaming the viewing via OneRoom: https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTcyMjU1NDc2NjMyMTYzNyZvbmVyb29tLWFkbWluJmNvcHlfbGluaw==
Dr. Mody is most defined by his dedication to family, most especially his adoration for his wife and three grandchildren. Before retirement, he was also well regarded as a Department of Veterans Affairs professional who supported the well-being of wounded and sick soldiers. Those who knew him, know that Dr. Mody never turned down anyone requesting help or advice.
Dr. Mody’s legacy includes his wife Asha, his sons Ram and Arjun, his daughters-in-law Bhaveeta and Amee, and his grandchildren Jaison, Esha, and Eila; in the last years of his life, Dr. Mody moved from his long-time home in West Orange, New Jersey to Fredericksburg, Virginia to be closer to his children and grandchildren in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. His presence brought great joy to us.
Funeral services will be this Saturday, 3 August, with a viewing from 2pm-4pm, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels and Cremation Service, located at 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. You can reach the funeral home at 540-825-3530.
