Kirby Franklin Day Jr.'s Obituary
Kirby Franklin Day, Jr. (Frankie), age 69, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2024.
Frankie is survived by his spouse, Margaret Bevans, as well as his immediate family, Angela M. Day, Jimmy (Amy) Bevans, and Brian (Jennifer) Bevans. Poppa (with Granny) to Liam, Ethan, Avery, and Cassidy who always held a special place in heart!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby Franklin Day, Sr. and Gail Juanita Ladd.
Frankie retired from Fairfax County in 2002 and enjoyed playing his many guitars, riding his motorcycle and cruising on the high seas. His favorite times were spending time with friends and family, going on adventures, playing cards, jig-saw puzzles, and board games.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, where the funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park. The family invites everyone to a reception with refreshments and light hors d’oeuvres following the burial at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
