Kevin Bruce Staker's Obituary
Kevin Bruce Staker, 65, passed away on July 15, 2025.
He was born on April 24, 1960 in Tacoma, WA to Dee Bruce and LaVon Peterson Staker. Kevin was sealed to Wanda Harding in the Provo, UT Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' temple on August 19, 1986 and they are the parents of six children and one grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, his children, Amber Staker, Williamsburg, VA; Ian Staker, Fredericksburg, VA; Chelsea Staker, Ashland, VA; Lochlan Staker, Helena, MT; Liam Staker, Fredericksburg, VA; and Graeme Staker, Fredericksburg, VA. He is also survived by his sisters, Bonnie Ellefsen, Mt. Pleasant, UT; Gayle Hanks, Lexington, VA; Kathleen Staker, Lehi, UT; and Kimberly Krebs, Mapleton, UT. Preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the White Oak Ward Chapel, 20 Boscobel Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family or to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Perpetual Education Fund.
