Kevin Earle Headlee's Obituary
Kevin Earle Headlee, 59, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital after a heroic fight with cancer.
Kevin was born in Bermuda to Col. Hal Headlee and his wife Jerilynn on December 5, 1961.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helene and their three children Christopher McCarthy, Nichole McCarthy, and Matthew Headlee and by his sister, Kelly, and his brother, Christopher. He was a loving Pop-Pop (too cool to be simply "granddad”) to Asha, Kaye, Noah, Tristan, and Ariana. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Kevin is remembered as a gregarious man who loved nothing more than talking, crafting, reading, and being with his family. He was kind, gentle, hard-working, and loved his family fiercely.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. He is to be cremated and his ashes interred with his parents in Marion, VA.
