Kevin Eugene Giles' Obituary
Kevin Eugene Giles, 48, of Richardsville died on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 18, 1964 in Washington, DC to Ronald Eugene and Annie Allen Giles.
Kevin was a 1982 graduate of Culpeper County High School and attended Oakland Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department and loved collecting Civil War memorabilia, metal detecting, fishing and writing God inspired poetry. Above all, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children; Eric Snead Giles of Richardsville and Beth Ann Giles and her fiancé, Jesse Settle of Lignum; one grandchild, Mason Glenn Settle of Lignum; and three siblings, Ronald Steven Giles and his wife, Patsy of Brightwood, Teresa Ann Hurlock and her husband, Tommy of Culpeper and Ronda Jean Clark and her husband, Anthony of Lexington, VA.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11 am at Oakland Baptist Church, 28348 Eleys Ford Rd., Richardsville VA, with Rev. James Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Richardsville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department, 29361 Eleys Ford Rd., Richardsville, VA 22736.
