Kerry Eugene Romesberg's Obituary
Kerry Eugene Romesberg, 77, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the early morning. He was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania, on the 18th of November, 1947, to Forrest and Jean Romesberg.
Kerry served as a Sergeant with the United States Air Force. He was stationed in South Korea and Vietnam, serving during the Vietnam War. After his dedicated service, he continued his career as an officer with the United States Government. Before retirement, he assisted the Tribal Nations with establishing data communication centers and IT infrastructure.
Kerry is preceded in death by his parents, along with his youngest sister, Vickie Blake. He is survived by his wife, Nora Kozlosky Rice; Daughters and their spouses, Lorraine Sutphin (Chris) and Selena Loring Rice (Stephen Cattell); Lorraine's mother, Rose Romesberg; Grandchildren, Emily, C.J., and Gavin Sutphin; Siblings, Sue Shumaker, Michael Romesberg, Laird Romesberg, Brad Romesberg and MaryAnn Baskett; along with a host of additional family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 115 N East Street, Culpeper, VA, with Reverend Trent Moore, Rector, officiating.
