Kenneth Garland Whitlock's Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Garland Whitlock of Culpeper, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Kenny was born March 30, 1941, in Culpeper to the late Louise Sisk Whitlock. Kenny was a lifelong resident of Culpeper County.
Throughout Kenny’s life, he worked on multiple farms as a cattleman, along with managing Culpeper Agricultural Enterprise for a number of years. Kenny also worked for Southern States for 13 years delivering fuel oil until his retirement in 2006. Kenny was a lifelong supporter of 4H between being a participant and also supporter of future showmen.
Kenny is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joyce Ann Whitlock; children, Karen Denise Whitlock and Kenneth Anthony Whitlock; one granddaughter, Kaitlin Elizabeth Harris; two siblings, Jerry Whitlock and Jean Tutwiler; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A graveside service will follow immediately in Fairview Cemetery, with Pastors Dan Carlton and Hans Murdock officiating.
