Kenneth Mulbury Lloyd's Obituary
Kenneth Mulbury Lloyd, of Spotsylvania, VA, born July 23, 1939 finished his journey of life December 8, 2016. He was born in NYC, son of Thomas Lloyd of Ireland and Frances Mulbury of Catskill, NY who preceded him in death, along with his first wife, Linda Wiseman.
After completing architectural schooling from State University – Farmingdale, NY and U of Florida, Ken worked in this profession until 1999 when he retired but not before designing all vertical transports for Yankee Stadium renovation and other interesting projects. He was transferred to Newport News, VA in 1980 and moved to Spotsylvania Co. in 2000.
Ken, a Navy Veteran and volunteer fireman, leaves his wife, Joyce Lloyd; daughters, Tara Main of Watertown, NY and Robyn Warren (Eric) of Hastings, NE; step-children, Lauri (Barry) Ratcliffe of Kaufman, TX, Timothy Ingram of St. Martinsville, LA and Kelly Lipkin of Spotsylvania, VA; granddaughter, Victoria Long; two grandsons, Dustin and Darren Warren; step-granddaughters, Kayla Ratcliffe Chambers, Taylor Ratcliffe, Lauren and Erin Lipkin, and Elizabeth and Anzlie Ingram; his brother, Roger Lloyd (Jeanne); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Catskill Rural Cemetery.
