Kenneth Lee Feaganes, Sr. "Drifter"'s Obituary
Kenneth Lee Feaganes, Sr. "Drifter", 66, of Culpeper, died Monday, November 6, 2023 at his home. He was born January 27, 1957 in Fauquier County to the late George Lewis and Violet Virginia Feaganes.
Kenneth loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who called him “Pop Pop.” He was a veteran of the US Army, and a truck driver for over 30 years, working for Superior Paving, as well as Athey Transport. On the road, he was most commonly known as “Drifter.” Kenneth liked talking and teasing with anyone. He also enjoyed his toys, like his John Deere tractor.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth Lee Feaganes, Jr.; three grandchildren, Grace Ann Feaganes, Harley Lella Feaganes, and Kenneth Lee Feaganes, III; his former wife of 37 years, Susan Fox Feaganes; and three siblings, Alice Leach (Gary), James “Calvin” Feaganes, and Eddie Feaganes (Lisa).
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by one brother, George Feaganes, and sister-in-law, Doris Feaganes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street, Culpeper with Pastor Lee Brown officiating. Pallbearers serving the family will be Kenneth Lee Feaganes, Jr., Gary Leach, Larry Brown, Lee Brown, Brandon Rutherford, Nelson Davis, Lacy Jackson, and Eddie Feaganes.
