Kenneth Wayne Burton's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Burton, better known as “Kenny with a B” or Dad, passed away peacefully at his home in Stafford, VA from ongoing health issues. His family is deeply saddened and hurt by this sudden loss.
Kenny is survived by his father George Wayne Burton SR and his wife Regina Burton. His mother Suzanne Burghart and her husband Ray Burghart, his sister Suzanne “Toot” Pollard, and brothers John Burton and George Burton JR, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kenny will also be forever remembered by his three children that he loved and adored with all his heart. Nichole Marie Woolen (Burton), Anthony Wayne Burton (Tony), and Colin Jackson Burton (CJ). As well as a grandson Thomas Michael Ferguson.
Kenny will also be loved and remembered by many close and lifelong friends, including Becky Simmons whom he loved and adored as well.
Kenny was preceded in death by his brother Timmy Bair, Nanaw and Papaw- George and Thelma Burton, as well as his Aunt Lottie and Duncle- Lottie and Ray Bailey. He is also predeceased by his ex-wife and the mother of his son CJ- Kelli McFadden.
Kenny was born in Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. He grew up in King George, VA and attended King George High School where he enjoyed playing basketball, the guitar, and would receive his GED.
Kenny was a warm, loving, extremely self-less father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was a very hard worker. Building hundreds of homes and completing a variety of special projects. He loved working with his hands and took great pride in his craftmanship. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing good ol’ rock songs. One of Kenny’s favorite places to visit was Downtown Fredericksburg and the Rappahannock River.
Kenny was and incredible father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will forever be in our hearts and with us in our memories.
